No problem! We like predictability because in our past environments it used to keep us safe. Think about back when we were hunting and gathering.

Our environments have changed. They're now totally safe, so predictability doesn't serve us as much now. It leads us to live rather rote lives and speeds up our sense of time.

Anthropologists call this an evolutionary mismatch.
